Change does not happen in a vacuum. It occurs when like-minded people, with a shared compassion join together to take on a task that seems insurmountable if it were attempted alone.
The Imara Foundation is driven by three guiding principles, Care for the less fortunate, Compassion for the forgotten, and a commitment to be concerned about the existential plight of others. This mission calls on us to reach beyond ourselves, beyond our borders to engage the suffering world with hope, healing, and wholeness.
The 21st century world demands those with the resources to share them. Those with a voice, to stand up and be heard, and those with a heart for people to extend a helping hand.
